Day 17

We are learning to have a different perspective.

I have the privilege of working in the Office of Orientation of LSU's campus.  My computer terminal is right next to a window so I basically get paid to people watch. It's kinda fun to see what people are wearing, the friends they are walking with, and then you ahve the random guy who's walking around with his laptop opened (balancing it with one hand while trying to type with the other... my guess is he forgot about an assignment). Anyway, as I day dream, I wonder what I look like as I walk around campus.  Is there anything different about me that says "Hey! I've found joy in all situations!"

I think I can speak for both Lauren and I when I say that we both want to shine in this world of darkness.  Our friendship has brought so much to my life over the past 3 years.  We challenge one another and try to push and prod each other to the point where we can be closer to the Light.

This is just a little glimpse of how I'm trying to "Roll Down the Windows" today.  With every step I take, may I shine the Light that has been, is, and will continue to be.  May we look different to the outside world and live it up each day!
